$210 for 50 minute sessions

$105 for 25 minute sessions

I request that you pay my fee within one week of each therapy session.

  • I am in-network for Cigna Insurance. I recommend that you contact your insurance carrier to obtain information about your mental health benefits, your annual deductible, and your co-pay or co-insurance payment. Your health insurance coverage is an agreement between you and your insurance company. In order to bill Cigna for you, I will need to get your authorization.

  • As a licensed clinical psychologist, I am an "out-of-network" provider on most other insurance plans. Most people with health insurance through their employer can get reimbursed for about 50-80% of the cost of therapy, once their deductible is met. After you have paid my fee, I will send you a “super-bill” whenever you ask for one. You can upload this PDF to your insurance company website and receive your reimbursement directly from them. Please note that Medicare and State insurance will not reimburse you.

To find out what your reimbursement will be, I recommend that you ask your insurance company this question: “What percentage will I be reimbursed for psychological services from an "out-of network" Licensed Psychologist in Washington State?"

The CPT code I use for 50 minute therapy sessions is 90837 and for 25 minutes of therapy, it’s 90832.

Once you have paid my fee, I will send you a super-bill documenting your payment, to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Just ask me for the super-bill and I will get it to you within one to two days.

Payment Methods

Payment for services is an important part of any professional relationship. I ask that you provide credit card information so that I can charge your co-pays or outstanding balance at each session. I accept all credit and HSA cards, but there is an additional 3% interest is charged to cover the credit card fee. You may prefer to mail a check for each therapy session to avoid credit card fees, or use Venmo in private mode for payment.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

When you make an appointment with me, you are reserving that time for yourself. If you cancel with more than 48 hours notice (M-F), that gives me time to try to fill your space, and you will not be charged. You will not be charged if you are sick or if an urgent matters arises unexpectedly. However, if you cancel an appointment with less than 24 hours notice or forget your appointment, you will be charged $185.00.
